Have I mentioned how I hate DC lately? If i had the wherewithal at the moment, I’d post my Captain Kirk throwing a tantrum gif. But I don’t. Because this is fucking dumb. I mean it’s still Billy Batson in there right? I’m guessing they knocked him back down to either early teens or tween. The Wizard would still choose him because he’s pure of heart and can wield the power of the mightiest mortal with respect, calm, and measured compassion. Unless they cut the Wizard out of this entirely and most of what’s important to the very notion of Captain Marvel. With everything else I wouldn’t put it past them. Look, Captain Marvel doesn’t work in a universe with Superman. That’s why you gotta make him Dick Superman. Except that he does. Has. And saying otherwise is the most lazy hackneyed excuse possible. And on top of that his boots look stupid.
